About History of the Tibbetts-Yost & Lord-Hamil families
Hi! This is Dani. Hope your doing great and life is going good!! Thankyou for visiting my family site. It's been a real adventure putting this geneology together. Talking with family members I probably never would've gotten a chance to know til now. This started off as a school project for my niece. She was researching her roots of Turner- Yost-Tibbetts. I'd wanted to do my familys geneology for years but had never found the time to do it, I just kept putting it off. With my grandmother gone now, her being the last of 12 children, I've lost an opportunity for some amazing stories and info she could've passed on. (You know those funny, sad, or embarassing ones that everybody loves!) I don't want to miss my opportunity now to record some of the things that I want to pass on to future family members. So here I go..... I'm not very good yet with the looking up info and don't know if all my info is correct!!!
Since my sister-in-law and niece have done the Yost-Tibbetts family tree I've concentrated more on my father's side of Lord-Brooks and my mother's side of Hamil- Carstensen. If you have any info that could be useful or if I could be of any help to you please contact me!!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
